전선에 대한 규격 AWG

SQ(Square)는 mm단위에 대한 규격이고, AWG(American Wire Gaure)는 inch단위의 규격이다.

대략 1제곱미터당 10A정도 흐를 수 있으며, 가정용 220V 구리선은 보통 14AWG를 사용한다

◎ Skin effect and skin Depth Notes

Skin effect is the tendency of an alternating electric current (AC) to distribute itself within a conductor so that the current density near the surface of the conductor is greater than that at its core. That is, the electric current tends to flow at the "skin" of the conductor. the skin effect causes the effective resistance of the conductor to increase with the frequency of the current. The maximum frequency show is for 100% skin depth (ie. no skin effects).

 

"Maximum frequency for skin depth = 100% area" 항목은 표피 효과에 대한 주파수 허용치를 나타내는 것으로 보여진다. 표피 효과로 저항 증가가 없는 수준에서 사용하기 위해서는 해당 수치의 주파수 이내로 사용하라는 것으로 보여진다.
