The color depth is the maximum number of color

 

The number of bits used to hold a screen pixel

픽셀당 색표현에 할당된 비트 수

"8-bit color subpixels"

or

"24-bit color pixels"

 

※ subpixel은 R, G, B 3개 bit의 묶음을 의미
